A new era of travel begins

G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions reveal their new 'Signature' itineraries to the world

G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions are proud to unveil the official launch of National Geographic Signature with G Adventures, a new collection of high-end travel experiences offering rare access to the world through the lens of National Geographic, focused on expert education and immersive experiences that ensure meaningful benefits for local communities. Designed for culturally curious travelers, this collection opens up the world through the richness of expert knowledge and education, special access to rarely seen places, meaningful immersion into local culture and a sense of purpose.

On sale now, the collection features 32 trips across 28 destinations, ranging from shorter seven-day trips to longer 19-day, more in-depth adventures across Southern Africa and Peru to Japan, Costa Rica, Central Asia, Morocco, Vietnam, Palau (a new destination for G Adventures) and more.

For 135 years, National Geographic has inspired curiosity through their pillars of exploration, science, storytelling and education. G Adventures, with more than 35 years of leadership in community tourism, has long championed meaningful travel that uplifts local people. National Geographic Signature with G Adventures unites these strengths, offering a product like no other that goes far deeper than any traditional luxury offering, providing travelers with access to leading experts in their field and one-of-a-kind experiences inspired by National Geographic's pillars, while directly benefiting and helping to uplift local communities.

Signature Moments - Each trip features stand-out moments that bring the spirit of National Geographic to life. For example, in Cambodia, guests enter the restricted Conservation d'Angkor center to meet specialists restoring and repatriating stolen antiquities. In Morocco, travelers will meet pioneering chef Najat Kaanache to explore Fez's ninth-century market, and explore Marrakech's medina with an expert storyteller, featured in National Geographic for his work in the revival of the ancient Moroccan art of Hikayat storytelling.

Special access - Beyond Signature Moments, trips also feature rare or private access to locations and sites that define experiential luxury; from dining in a private villa overlooking Lake Maggiore on Isola Bella Island and before-hours canopy walkways in Costa Rica, to exclusive access to Amman's Citadel and archaeological ruins at sunset and a private dinner in Churchill's Cabinet War Rooms. These experiences are designed not only to amaze, but to educate, unlocking parts of the world through National Geographic's spirit of discovery.

Access to leading experts - Defining features of the collection are the National Geographic Expedition Leaders and National Geographic Expedition Experts, who will accompany each trip. Highly experienced Expedition Leaders will lead each departure and provide travelers with a broad understanding of the destination, while Expedition Experts are leaders in their specific field, ranging from photographers, biologists and geologists to historians, filmmakers, naturalists, archaeologists, conservationists and more. With many Expedition Experts being local to each destination, they provide travelers with the rare chance to learn directly from the people advancing knowledge and research on the ground.

Travel that makes a difference - Every Signature trip purchase helps to support the nonprofit National Geographic Society, which works to protect and illuminate our world through exploration, research and education. Community-focused initiatives ensure local people benefit directly while giving travelers a more authentic connection to the places they visit. In Peru, travelers will visit the Caccaccollo Women's Weaving Cooperative accompanied by Nilda Callañaupa Alvarez, a National Geographic Society grantee, to learn about the preservation of the Indigenous Quechuan weaving traditions. In Egypt, they will learn to prepare traditional Egyptian bread at Nawaya, a project which empowers women working in the traditionally male-dominated agriculture industry. A farm-to-table meal and lively discussion with one of the co-founders provide insights into how these role models are challenging traditional gender norms.

Elevated immersive stays - Accommodations throughout the collection are five-star or best-in-region and provide an elevated standard of hospitality without compromising the spirit of exploration. Prioritizing accommodations that reflect the destination and a sense of place, travelers will stay in serene vineyards, classic safari camps, eco-lodges, mountain retreats, design-forward hotels, historic riads, beachside boutiques, grand metropolitan icons or retreats offering views of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

National Geographic Signature with G Adventures trips include:

Signature: Peru from Machu Picchu to the Amazon Jungle - This 12-day adventure will see travelers tracing Hiram Bingham's iconic expedition to the mountaintop city of the Incas, meeting with local women and experts working to protect ancient weaving techniques in the Sacred Valley and enjoying a lecture with a local expert in their mountain lodge to understand more about the history, conservation challenges and cultural significance of Machu Picchu. In the Amazon, travelers can become Citizen Scientists in the AmazonCam program, or take an Aerobotany lesson, learning to fly a drone and taking panoramic shots of forest ecology. In Lima, travelers will explore the renowned Museo Larco, guided by a National Geographic Expedition Expert, learning about the artistry, beliefs and deep ties ancient cultures held with the natural world.

Signature: The Five Stans & the Heart of the Silk Road - Following the path of the ancient Silk Road, this 19-day Signature trip provides travelers with a deep understanding of the significance of this ancient trading route, its culture, history and the traditional nomadic ways of life. Signature Moments include an after-hours visit to the Guri Emir Mausoleum where a local history professor will lead a discussion on the Tamerlane Dynasty and a before-hours visit to Issyk State Historical & Cultural Reserve Museum, with a curator-led talk on the famed Scythian “Golden Man” and the archaeology of the Issyk Valley. Travelers will eat lunch with a Kyrgyz family and witness millennia-old sporting traditions such as eagle hunting, horsemanship and Kok-boru demonstrations in a nomadic village, learning about the traditions that reflect the nomadic spirit, strength, and harmony with nature that define Kyrgyz culture.

Signature: Southern Africa from Cape Town to Victoria Falls - This 14-day Southern Africa trip brings together culture, conservation and luxury, offering rare access and unforgettable perspectives. Starting in Cape Town, travelers will sip award-winning vintages with a leading South African winemaker before learning from the Indigenous San people through ancient storytelling at the !Khwa ttu San Culture and Education Center. Expedition Expert presentations throughout explore the flavors, history, culture and landscapes of the region, while in Kruger, private safaris with conservation experts from the Endangered Wildlife Fund provide in-depth insight into the important work being done to protect South Africa's wildlife. In Chobe, photography experts will teach travelers how to capture the perfect wildlife photo. Travelers will spend unforgettable nights sleeping in chic train carriages suspended over the Sabie River at Kruger Shalati, and in boutique lodges overlooking Batoka Gorge.
