Reyn Spooner Returns to Maui
Reyn Spooner has opened a new retail store at Whalers Village in Lahaina, marking the brand's return to Maui. Hawaiʻi Farm Project and Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Cooperative to Process ʻUlu from Maui Farmers in New Partnership
Maui-based agriculture and agritourism hub Hawaiʻi Farm Project and farmer-owned diversified growers collective Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Cooperative have partnered up to aggregate and process ʻulu (breadfruit) from farms across Maui. Working in partnership with John Cadman of Maui Breadfruit Company, Hawai'i 'Ulu Cooperative will begin receiving 'ulu from its farmer members across Maui at Hawai'i Farm Project's newly renovated cutting and processing facility in Hāli'imaile. After receiving the 'ulu, workers at the facility will then clean, cut, steam, freeze and package it for distribution to local restaurants, schools and hospitals on Maui.

Second Annual Honolua Classic
The Honolua Classic is an exclusive, invitation-only surf event celebrating the service of Maui's first responders, educators and military community. Co-hosted by OUTRIGGER Kā'anapali Beach Resort and Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy and organized by Lahaina-born world champion waterman Zane Schweitzer and Maui Coast Guard Officer Dylan McCall, the event takes place at the legendary Honolua Bay during its prime winter surf season. Registration Now Open for 15th Annual Maui 5K
Maui Ocean Center will present the 15th Annual Maui 5K from 7 to 9 a.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026. Registration is now open, with new youth rates for ages 5 to 17. Participants have the option to take part in a 5K run through Mā'alaea or walk an alternate mile-long loop. For those who can't attend, a virtual run is also offered. Proceeds from the event provide funding for local schools. About 1,200 Maui residents and visitors participated in the 14th annual Maui 5K, raising a record $72,000 for Maui County schools.
