THE SILVER LINE BRINGS NEW RAIL ACCESS TO GRAPEVINE
Visitors will soon enjoy connections from the East and West with seamless rail travel across North Texas

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (October 27, 2025) Visitors now have another convenient way to reach Grapevine as the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Silver Line commuter rail opens service. The 26-mile line connects Grapevine with Plano, Richardson, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell and Dallas with stops at DFW North and DFW Airport Terminal B stations.

The addition of the Silver Line gives Grapevine visitors approaching from the East a direct rail connection into Grapevine. Coupled with TEXRail service from Fort Worth and the complimentary Grapevine Visitors Shuttle, travelers can now easily reach Historic Main Street, hotels, attractions and shopping without having to drive. Riders on the Silver Line will enjoy European-style comfort in quiet coaches with luggage racks, USB chargers, bicycle storage and comfortable seating.

“Grapevine has long been a welcoming destination for visitors from the West with TEXRail,” said Paul W. McCallum, Executive Director of the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Now with the Silver Line, we're excited to better connect with communities from the East, making it easier than ever for visitors across North Texas to indulge in culinary offerings, great shopping, entertainment and events.”

From family-friendly favorites like Grapevine Vintage Railroad and Historic Nash Farm to annual traditions including Main Street Fest, GrapeFest® and the Christmas Capital of Texas®, Grapevine offers something for every traveler. With two regional rail systems and complimentary shuttles, visitors staying in Grapevine can also easily explore the DFW Metroplex's neighboring cities while keeping Grapevine their home base.
