Kensington

Kensington, the leader in private guided luxury travel, has announced the launch of Kensington Expeditions, a new collection of highly customized travel experiences that blend luxury with immersive adventure across land, sea, air and space.

Pushing the boundaries of luxury travel, Kensington will offer clients the opportunity to experience the final frontier through curated visits to next-generation space stations. These pioneering outposts, part of the world's first commercial space station currently in development, are designed to lay the foundation for long-term living and thriving beyond Earth. With an anticipated launch in May 2026, these space-based experiences will complement Kensington's legacy of delivering deeply personal and unforgettable travel across the globe.

Developed in response to growing client demand for more adventurous journeys without sacrificing comfort, Kensington Expeditions offers private, tailor-made itineraries guided by leading scientists, marine biologists, explorers, and cultural experts.

Each expedition incorporates hands-on conservation and scientific engagement alongside exclusive cultural experiences, offering access to activities and locations not available to the general public. Through partnerships with researchers and local organizations, guests participate in field-based initiatives such as marine biodiversity monitoring, community-driven conservation projects, and guided ecological studies. A dedicated expedition project manager ensures seamless coordination, while scientists, naturalists, and cultural experts lead workshops, private sessions, and immersive tours. These interactions offer deeper insight into ongoing research and preservation efforts, transforming the journey into a platform for learning, contribution, and purposeful travel.

Each Kensington Expeditions journey, whether built around space, land, air, or sea, delivers trailblazing adventures with exclusive access to rare experiences and off-the-radar destinations with a fully bespoke itinerary built around sustainability, conservation, and cultural immersion. Sample itineraries below illustrate the range of possibilities, all designed to deliver immersive, personalized, and unforgettable travel.

  • Antarctica: This 12-day private superyacht expedition begins in Patagonia before heading south to Antarctica's remote and ice-sculpted wilderness. Guests explore the White Continent alongside scientists and polar experts, with opportunities for activities such as kayaking, submersible dives, and visits to working research stations. Highlights include encounters with penguin colonies, breaching whales, and historic outposts like Port Lockroy and Vernadsky Station. Designed for flexibility and access, each day is shaped around the guest's interests, offering a rare and immersive experience in one of the planet's most remote regions.
  • British Columbia: A journey through the Great Bear Rainforest combining a luxury yacht experience aboard the Pacific Yellowfin with a stay at Nimmo Bay Wilderness Lodge. Guests encounter rare wildlife including the Kermode spirit bear, grizzlies, humpback whales, and coastal wolves, with opportunities for cultural and ecological exploration.
  • Oman: This 14-day itinerary through Northern and Southern Oman combines cultural exploration, outdoor activities, and stays in a range of settings, from city hotels and mountain lodges to private desert camps and a restored dhow. • Costa Rica:  A 10-day expedition through Costa Rica combines a week aboard a private expedition yacht featuring 6 suites, a 19-person crew, private chefs, dive pros, and a wellness deck with gym, hammam, and cold plunge.  Guests will spend three nights at Hacienda Montezuma, moving between marine, rainforest, and volcanic landscapes and will enjoy experiences ranging from diving at Caño Island and dolphin encounters in the open ocean to rainforest trekking, wildlife tracking, and hands-on conservation projects. The journey also includes activities such as bioluminescence night tours, waterfall rappelling, river rafting, horseback riding, and cultural evenings on the ranch. Throughout, travelers are guided by conservationists and naturalist hosts, with time set aside for wellness and reflection in both yacht and lodge settings.
  • Chasing the Horizons: This 34-day private jet journey follows the equator around the world, offering rare access to some of the planet's most remote and biologically rich regions. From the coral reefs of Raja Ampat and the rainforests of Borneo to Rwanda's volcanoes and Brazil's dune deserts, the expedition blends wildlife encounters, cultural immersion, and seamless logistics. Guests experience two gorilla species in the wild, snorkel with manta rays and whale sharks, and navigate the Amazon—all supported by expert guides and conservation partners.
