Sagres, Portugal – This November, the renowned Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort will host a milestone edition of its annual Art, Design & Wellbeing Weekend, honoring 15 exceptional years of the Martinhal brand.
Launched in 2010, Martinhal has become a beacon of elegance, creativity, and community, committed from the very start to elevating Portuguese artists and artisans. Over the years, it has showcased the work of talented local artists such as Kruella D'Enfer, Graça Paz, Pedro Batista, Bordalo II, Vasco Águas, Oficina Marques and Tamara Alves, among many others.
The 2025 celebration promises a rich program of art presentations, workshops, and brand presentations, all against the stunning backdrop of the Algarve coast. The event will include a retrospective of 15 remarkable artists who have created works for the past 12 editions of this special weekend at Martinhal Sagres, as well as for other Martinhal Resorts, over the last 15 years. We'll also be joined by long-time partners and exciting new brands, coming together to create an inspiring weekend of art, design, and wellbeing. Claus Porto will once again join us as long-term partner, and L'Unperfect - the new Portuguese perfume company launched in 2024 - is among the exciting newcomers. Other confirmed participants include Carolina Curado Jewelry, Oriza Lab (skincare) and António (handmade timeless bags). More partners will be announced soon.
Culinary artistry will also take center stage, with Executive Chef Micael Valentim—who has grown alongside Martinhal—curating exclusive dining experiences at the resort's signature restaurants. The main celebratory cocktail and dinner on November 15th will be followed by an unforgettable celebration at M Bar.
This special weekend captures the very essence of Martinhal: a celebration of creativity, community, and the timeless beauty of Portuguese culture.
