Seattle Museum Month Celebrates 10 Years with Incredible Hotel Deals for February Travelers

Visit Seattle

Seattle Museum Month returns for its 10th year in 2025, celebrating a decade of connecting visitors to Seattle's top museums and cultural institutions in a budget-friendly and accessible way. From February 1-28, guests staying at one of 71 downtown hotels will receive a Seattle Museum Month pass offering half-off admission for up to four people at participating attractions. Perfect for families, groups, and curious travelers seeking Seattle getaways or staycations, this year's milestone program combines exclusive discounts with exciting new experiences. Highlights include the Seattle Aquarium's expanded exhibits in its brand-new Ocean Pavilion and the Museum of History and Industry's “Almost Live! (Almost an Exhibit)” a special showcase about Seattle's sketch comedy show “Almost Live!”, which aired on KING 5 from 1984 to 1999. A full list of participating museums and hotels is available at seattlemuseummonth.com.

With convenient locations near top attractions and cozy accommodations serving as home base, participating downtown hotels provide the ideal starting point for exploring the city's museums and landmarks – and staying at one is the only way to receive an official Seattle Museum Month guest pass, unlocking exclusive discounts.

“At W Seattle, we love Seattle Museum Month in February. Our location at Fourth and Seneca, in the financial and cultural core of the city, is ideal for guests to enjoy all the great museums throughout Seattle,” said Greg Campbell, director of sales and marketing at W Seattle. “We also offer wonderful works of art in our own hotel with multiple murals by artist Morgan Zion, including an entire floor called 'FACES,' dedicated to the people, places and neighborhoods that make Seattle so special.”

Those participating in Seattle Museum Month can experience new exhibitions and displays like the “The Reef”, the Seattle Aquarium's newest and largest reef habitat in its Ocean Pavilion facility, which showcases the lush biodiversity of the Coral Triangle in the Indo-Pacific.

Making its debut in the program, the Log House Museum—a Seattle historical landmark located near Alki Beach— offers visitors an opportunity to explore the city's vibrant history and cultural heritage.

“Seattle Museum Month is an awesome tradition celebrating the dynamic and robust local museum community. We are so lucky to be a part of one of the best museum cities in the world,” says Elizabeth Rudrud, programs and community outreach director at the Log House Museum. “Our current exhibit, 'Seattle's Forest: The West Duwamish Greenbelt,' highlights the geologic, Indigenous, and political history of the city's largest contiguous forest. It was developed by community partners including the West Duwamish Greenbelt Trails Group and the Duwamish Tribe. We are honored to welcome visitors from around the world to share the history of this significant place.”

With family-friendly entertainment, world-class exhibits and unbeatable savings, Seattle Museum Month makes discovering the city's cultural gems easier than ever.
