BANFF, 15 January 2025 – Fairmont Banff Springs is about to unveil Après at the Castle, a new evening event highlighting the iconic winter experience at Canada's Castle in the Rockies. Running 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily from Friday, January 17 to Sunday, February 2, 2025, this one-of-a-kind event is a must-do during Banff's SnowDays festival. Whether you're a seasoned local, or a visitor looking for new experiences, Après at the Castle is the perfect way to warm up and discover the best of winter in the Canadian Rockies.  

Event Highlights: 

Sugar Shack: A charming outdoor cabin offering delectable signature warm cocktails, irresistible hand pies, and exclusive merchandise. With fire pits, seating and heaters, it's the perfect place to warm up and indulge in comforting treats. 

Ice Skating Rink: Glide across a picturesque rink illuminated by twinkling festoon lights and surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. A winter wonderland for all ages! 

Capture Special Moments: Marvel at stunning sculptures and whimsical decor designed to captivate and inspire. Don't forget capture those share-worthy snaps.

Veuve Cliquot Après Lounge: A dedicated outdoor lounge, serviced by the famous Rundle Bar, features vibrant decor, signature cocktails and flowing Veuve Clicquot champagne. 

Outdoor Fires and Roasting Marshmallows: A VIP section for hotel guests offers crackling fires, cozy blankets, and complimentary hot apple cider and roasting marshmallows. 
 
Apres at the Castle's launch weekend will feature live ice carving on January 17-18, 2025. Canadian figure skater, Elladj Balde, will also be strapping on his skates and showing off his skills on the ice at 5:00 PM on January 18.
