Anguilla Underscores its position as a destination of choice securing the top 10 Best for the USA Today Readers' Choice Awards.

The Valley, Anguilla – January 13, 2025 – Anguilla has once again secured top honors in USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards, earning high rankings across various categories that highlight the island's unmatched allure. From its pristine beaches to world-class resorts, restaurants, and golf course, Anguilla continues to solidify its status as a premier destination.

In the latest rankings, Meads Bay Beach claimed 6th place, and Shoal Bay Beach followed closely at 8th place among the Top 10 Beaches in the Caribbean.  In the Best Caribbean Beach Bars category, Elvis' Beach Bar and SunShine Shack took 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. Additionally, Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club was ranked 6th in the Best Caribbean Golf courses category. Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla, earned 7th place in the Best Caribbean Resorts, while Blanchard's Restaurant and Beach Shack also secured 7th place in the Best Caribbean Restaurants category.

Minister of Tourism, Hon. Haydn Hughes, celebrated the accolades, stating, “These awards are a testament to Anguilla's standing as a world-class and unparalleled destination. Our beaches are not only spectacular but embody the serenity and charm that define Anguilla. This recognition reflects the diversity and excellence of our tourism offerings, from exquisite dining and luxury resorts to exhilarating golf and unforgettable beachside experiences. We warmly invite travelers to discover Anguilla's unmatched beauty and our unique hospitality.”

Mrs. Melisha Maccow-Niles, Chairperson of the Anguilla Tourist Board, emphasized the significance of the achievements, noting, “For Meads Bay and Shoal Bay to rank among the Top 10 Beaches in the Caribbean is a remarkable accomplishment. Coupled with the recognition of our beach bars, golf course, resort, and restaurant, these awards validate Anguilla's reputation as a leading travel destination. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of our people, which make these honors possible.”

Director of Tourism, Ms. Stacey Liburd, expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Starting the year with such prestigious recognition is incredibly rewarding. To have Anguilla featured across so many categories in USA Today's Readers' Choice Awards speaks volumes about the quality of experiences we offer.
