These properties celebrate local heritage, art, and landscapes, giving visitors a chance to connect with the region's culture and character. Whether you're drawn to artistic Taos, the vibrant energy of Santa Fe, or the nostalgic charm of Route 66, these openings and renovations are creating unforgettable experiences for travelers. 

New in 2025

Hotel Willa - Opening in Q1 2025
Located at the gateway to the Downtown Taos Historic District, Hotel Willa transforms a 1960s motel into an ode to the awe-inspiring scenes of Taos. It offers a contemporary take on traditional Southwestern style and adobe design, featuring 51 rooms with rich terracotta walls adorned with local art, complemented by warm colours and arched doorways.

The upcoming Juliette restaurant and bar, crafted in collaboration with local culinary stars Johnny Ortiz-Concha (Taos Pueblo) and Maida Branch, promises a fresh, inspired dining experience. Art lovers, rejoice: an on-site gallery and an Artist-in-Residency program curated by The Paseo Project further cement Hotel Willa as a haven for the creatively inclined.

ARRIVE Albuquerque - Opening in Q1 2025
Formerly known as the historic Hotel Blue, the soon-to-open ARRIVE Albuquerque by Palisociety infuses the city's vibrant culture with modern boutique charm. Known for creating thoughtfully designed spaces and unique programming that embrace the local character, ARRIVE will immerse its guests in the design, style, tastes, and culture of Albuquerque on the city's famous Central Avenue known as the modern-day Route 66. 

Hotel Flora - Opening mid-2025
Located in Santa Fe's burgeoning Railyard district, known for its breweries, outdoor events, eclectic retail shops, artisan and farmers' markets, Hotel Flora will offer elegantly appointed rooms and suites, complete with cozy fireplaces and private balconies overlooking garden courtyards. Its signature restaurant, Railyard Social, will offer an inviting open-air dining concept with dishes designed for sharing. 

Route 66 Reimagined 

The iconic “Mother Road” will celebrate its centennial in 2026 and New Mexico is home to nearly 500 miles of the nostalgic open road. Complete with mid-century Americana, like mom-and-pop diners, curio shops, roadside attractions, and renovated motels, Route 66 offers a journey through time. 

The Mystic (formerly the Silver Saddle, Santa Fe)

Santa Fe's latest newly renovated hip roadside motel embraces its Route 66 roots. Complete with two time-capsule rooms designed by co-owner Amanda Tucker, these spaces transport guests to the 1940s and 1950s with vintage cowboy curtains, a Roy Rogers lunchbox, and other nostalgic touches. 

El Rey Court (Santa Fe)
Originally built in 1936, this iconic white adobe motor court has been re-imagined for today's traveler. Its on-site Turquoise Trailer food tuck and lively local watering hole provide a fun, authentic vibe.

Monterey Inn (Albuquerque) 
Just minutes from Old Town, this stylish blend of retro charm and modern touches offers travelers a classic Route 66 experience. 

El Vado Motel (Albuquerque) 
This century-old boutique motel opened back up in 2021 in Old Town Albuquerque. It's home to a tap room and a lively courtyard that hosts markets, food pods, and local artisans 

Imperial Inn (Albuquerque)
A new boutique hotel on historic Route 66, with styling that honours the 1960s Jet Age era, The Imperial's guestrooms have been completely renovated for the utmost modern comfort. Whether you are here for a quick visit or a long stay, enjoy a poolside beverage and meal from the onsite cocktail lounge and food hall, featuring local spirits and several local cuisine options.

Blue Swallow Inn (Tucumcari)
A meticulously restored, historic Route 66 motor court known for its vintage charm, iconic neon signage, and cosy, retro-style rooms that include many of the original furnishings, lovingly restored. Fun Fact: The inn served as inspiration for the animated Disney film Cars.

El Rancho Hotel (Gallup)
A legendary stop along Route 66, this historic property is famed for its Southwest charm, rich Hollywood history, and past guests, including film stars from the golden age of cinema. The El Rancho became a hub for Hollywood stars during the filming of Westerns in the area and has hosted legends like John Wayne, Katherine Hepburn, and Lucille Ball.

Recent Renovations

Hotel Andaluz (Albuquerque) - expected completion by the end of summer 2025
Placed on The National Register of Historic Places and originally constructed by New Mexico native Conrad Hilton, this hotel is undergoing an approximately $7 million restoration and renovation to bring new life to one of the Southwest's iconic buildings. The remodel includes an updated lobby, sleeping rooms, corridors, meeting space, second-level mezzanine and gift shop. The restaurant bar and second-floor rooftop bar will be reopened with new concepts during the renovations, and a lobby bar will also be added during the renovations.  

Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado (Santa Fe) - completed in spring 2024
The premier destination for lavish getaways in Santa Fe is now home to the city's newest guest rooms with the completion of a multimillion-dollar revitalization encompassing all 65 intimate casitas. The exquisitely transformed casitas mark the first guest room renewal since the resort's 2008 opening. Now available to book, the new pueblo-inspired design elegantly blends modern elements with timeless style. All rooms have been significantly enhanced with new coral and rust color palette, custom-made furniture, technology, lighting, paint, window treatments, artwork and more.
