Remai Modern

SASKATOON, CANADA — Hearth, the Saskatoon restaurant on the ground floor of the Remai Modern contemporary art museum, was named to Open Table's Top 100 Restaurants of 2024. This annual list, chosen by diners, includes restaurants from across Canada.

Hearth is just one of two restaurants from Saskatchewan to have made the Top 100. Open Table's list looks at diner reviews and metrics to determine the restaurants on the list.

In 2024, Hearth also claimed a spot on the 100 Best Restaurants in Canada list for the third time. At spot No. 88 they were the only Saskatchewan restaurant on the list this year. They also made the list in 2020 and 2022.

About Hearth

Hearth is a celebration of Saskatchewan, focusing its menu around locally grown and foraged ingredients. They joined forces with Remai Modern in 2022 and collectively created an experience — from art to food to events — you can't find anywhere else.

Hearth is led by co-owners and chefs Beth Rogers and Thayne Robstad, who have been working together in the Canadian food scene, including stints in Vancouver and Toronto, since 2004.

Hearth is also Remai Modern's catering partner for events including weddings, galas, meetings and more. This partnership brings together the museum's inspiring views and one-of-a-kind event spaces with superb food that celebrates the province.
