Recently, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club installed its latest art piece Bronze Eroded Astronaut (2022), in its front garden. The 'Astronaut' is located to the right of the walking path near The Princess Hotel sign.

Created by highly acclaimed artist Daniel Arsham, 'Bronze Eroded Astronaut', is a life-size sculpture, drawing inspiration from the iconic image of the late astronaut Neil Armstrong, during his Apollo 11 Moonwalk in 1969.

Arsham's sculptures have been described as 'future relics', exploring themes of decay, regeneration, and progression, while this particular piece takes us back to that historic lunar moment, inviting reflection on our collective journey through time and space.

Hamilton Princess' art collection houses several other Arsham works of art, including a piece called Large Wrapped Animal (Blue), acquired by the hotel in 2023. It is located outside of the Exhale Spa across from The Princess Resort Shop.
