John Muir once said, “Thousands of tired, nerve shaken, over civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountain is going home; that wilderness is a necessity; that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of life.”
John Muir recognized the connection between the mountains and “wellness” even before it had a name.
In Tuolumne County, CA, wellness is a lifestyle, not a trend. Surrounded by dramatic High Sierra scenery and the peaceful rolling foothills, it's only natural to breathe in the tranquility and relax into the mountain hospitality.
Here are some experiences for visitors to help them take home an intangible souvenir of expanded mindfulness and enhanced wellness.
